Would you pay
extra for newspapers without holiday ads?
"I would,
any time of the year. . . . That's not what
I'm paying for; it's just as gratuitous as the
ads they now run in movie-houses or telemarketers
using your fun to spin their tales. No wonder
newspaper readership is down: Before you can
read it, you have to weed it."
