Aggie Ice Cream store plans grand reopening on tax day

April 13, 2005 | The new and improved Famous Aggie Ice Cream store has reopened in the Nutrition and Food Science Building.

Gone is the 1970s "avocado refrigerator" look, replaced with a modern, more colorful décor, along with more places to sit, new menu items, more consumer-oriented displays and, of course, always fantastic Famous Aggie Ice Cream.

The grand opening of the store, featured around the theme, "A New Face on an Old Name" will be on tax day, April 15. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged are invited to the reopening ceremony at 3 p.m. Later than night, they can turn their taxes in, and then come to the store.
